That's interesting. I never would have considered wildlife signs for that. I've seen the "slow down" speed signs that use K band, but nothing like this. I'm speculating these will also use older K band and be another nuisance in that spectrum.

Yeah, I’m wondering a few things like is the RADAR on the sign itself, or is it just a receiver and notifier for other radar sensors in the area, the later being my guess. I would bet that they’re using field disturbance sensors that can cover a wide field of view, so there is a good possibility they’d be able to be filtered out with FMCW and FDSR filters on RADAR detectors.

Makes sense on the FDSR. I used to live near a college that had a split campus on both sides of a major road. They put in a crosswalk system that would activate when people approached the intersection. That thing would always make my K band alert scream on my detector, but once I figured out it was coming from that systems I was able to put a GPS lockout on it. This might be a similar so when the wifllife enteres the area and distrubs the field the sign lights up warning motorists.

You see safety I see hunting aid.

No more sitting around straining your eyes and waiting for the deer to appear. Nope, now I can park my pickup truck, turn on some movie, wait for the sign to flash a warning, take out my rifle and aid the motorists with avoiding yet another wildlife incident while having myself a nice venison for dinner.

I guess there's always a silver lining, you just have to find it. ha ha
