I need to fully explain this video/encounter so it will make sense when watching....

After work I needed to run an errand, not too long after crossing into the next town over I get a 35.524 alert from the rear, very weak. It continued off and on for a couple miles, and then started to get more intense. After a bit of checking the rear view I finally see the LEO's catching up coming out of a turn behind me, about 6 vehicles back. I was actually very impressed with the rear detection give the terrain (a lot of sharp corners, hills, etc.). Even though he was about 6 vehicles back they were spaced out good bit so the signal would ramp up and down as expected. This went on for about another couple of miles....

Now for what happens in the video....the alert you hear when it starts is the 35.524 from behind, starting to drop off due to the terrain and how far behind. Then just after 30 seconds it picks it up from the rear again as the road straightens out and quickly ramps up.....then suddenly I catch out of the corner of my eye (about 1 min in) that the arrow switched to forward (exactly when I am not sure)....still showing 35.524.....which seemed very odd. Then a few moments later....there is another LEO oncoming passing me! As soon as he passes me the 360 quickly goes back to the rear arrow at 35.524.

So, If I am to trust the 360....BOTH of them were running the exact same frequency! The arrows switched right after the 2nd LEO passed so it was not like there was a strong reflection signal coming from the front to 'fool' the RD. Since they were running the exact same frequency the Bogey alert tone never sounded either! The LEO in the back was not close enough to be 'over-driving' the RD either, IMO.

I am really inclined to believe this was a 'perfect storm' encounter with NO warning about the LEO in front. I have my 360 mounted against the headliner so the arrows are not as easy to see as they were when on the BM.

What are the odds of the signal being the exact same? Could these be brand new units from the factory calibrated the same? Would be interested to hear some thoughts!

....or do you think this was a 'glitch' with the 360?
