Hey Guys!

Check out this Jeep TrackHawk we did an ALP + K40 system in, we installed this last summer, but recently had it back for updates and more testing! The system consists of a K40 built in radar kit, and an ALP Hi Fi kit w/ 2 RX + 1 TX up front, and 1 RX + 1 TX (w/ mask) in the rear. We extensively tested this Jeep w/ a Compact DragonEye with the latest firmware available (Same firmware as Jon From Radenso's Full size gun) and it performed perfectly, no PTs whatsoever!

Thanks!

Austin

From this install and the other ones you’ve posted recently, I must say you guys appear to be doing some great work!

My only concern with this install is the spacing of the rear sensors. In theory you want the single standard sensor as close to the middle of the vehicle as possible (but not too close to the TX) for receiving purposes. I’ll trust your testing but I’d be surprised if you couldn’t find a hole somewhere on that rear end to get a PT.

Thanks so much! Yes I do understand, but the rears work extremely well, could not get a single PT on the rear from any distance or angle we tested, If we had, we would have re-adjusted them.

Perfect ! I was always wondering if those front vents would be a good place for Sensors. (I’m thinking the designers put them there for that exact reason) ;)
Now I know where to mount them on my TrackHawk (after Lotto win)

Isn’t the K40 overpriced garbage?
We prefer Radenso over K40, at the time of this install, the RC-M wasn't available from our supplier in Canada.

I also doubt 1 RX + 1 TX spaced so much would be 100% bulletproof against DET gun.
I bet if you did an angled shot towards a taillight closest to the TX sensor and been positioned on the same side as TX sensor you would get PTs or IPTs no matter what you say. In this case RX sensor is just to far away from more distant taillight.
We did numerous tests with RX + TX + DETC or DESL and we would always get PTs.

However DET is positioned on the side of the road where RX is and you shoot across it to get to TX side, then it does defend since it can see pulses.

I always suggest if you are going to go with RX+TX rear protection, space them 7 inches apart.
