Why Genevo one M (Radenso Pro M in U.S.A) falses a lot when MRCT is on?

Hi,

in order to test my Genevo One M vs a Mesta Fusion Radar I have activate MRCT and MRCD .

Here in France we have only K band radars or Vitronic Poliscan (a lidar radar) so MRCT/MRCD should be set off.

Making my tests with MRCD, MRCT on and with MRCD filter off or low, I get a lot of false on MRCT quite more than K band.

Why?

It happens especially in the highway and the alarm last few seconds with full signal.

What do you think?

Because the Mesta Fusion scans so fast, all the detectors are guessing. It’s not really MRCD, MRCT or Gatso. They see a glimpse of it and try to figure out what it is.

The beam is pretty narrow. Not as narrow as MRCD which is the narrowest and the hardest to pick up.

It’s a totally different way they use K band. Jon at Radenso could probably explain it better than me.

As for Photo radar, it’s the most complex to detect as all the detectors on the market are not fast enough.

What I mean by that is, it doesn’t sit on one frequency very long. It has multiple frequencies firing out of it. Not at the same time, but they’re so quick, the detectors mislabel what it is if at all. It really can’t see it long enough to ID it properly.
