Interesting.
Is Whistler under Escort ? If not, isn't WiFi in a detector protected ?
Any idea what they are doing with the DVR ?

Saw this detector on a Whistler post on Facebook a week or so ago. When I went back to post the link here it disappeared.

I'm trying to figure out if the leakage is from the WiFi...

It seems like I saw a video of the Veil Guy interviewing Mike B about this detector about a month or two ago. I wonder if it is based off the CR95/97 platform. It is an interesting concept. If I remember correctly it can take a maximum of a 32gb micro SD card. It wouldn’t interest me, but some people might like the convenience of an all in one detector and “dash” cam.

I'd like an all in one package myself, provided it was paired with a decent detector and has decent resolution on the camera, but since that combo seems to be lacking in the market as of now I will have to get by with separate units.

I've used whistlers in the past, before I joined here and well, they did what they could and I liked them at the time.

So I talked to Mike B about it when he was first releasing the MFU-440.

IIRC, that one doesn't have WiFi and so I presume this is the next model. As far as the RD itself, because they wanted to stick to the ~$200 pricepoint, it's based on one of their lower end RD's, not the CR93'ish lineup, so performance will be less than their top end performers.
