When searching for r7, nothing comes up. searching r3 brings up r4 firmware.
R7 FW is on Uniden's site now v122.123.111

Yay! I can use the notch filter in my area without worry. It would be nice ton include a user definable notch to stop falses from their own BSM systems if that's not an option. I guess I'll find out when I DL it.

Is there anyone who has a copy of the current FW that shipped with the BRD units? 121.122.111 I always like to keep a copy of the ones I'm upgrading from in case there is a problem. Currently I have 121.122.111, but have seen no problems with it. I just want to check out the new features and performance of the newer FW. Thanks!
How does the notch filter work? Does it mute it or not display at all?This notch filter has really improved the R7 experience for me. Great to see the update is available for everyone
Its the same as disabling a Ka segment. Muted and not displayed. Although, I've seen a PT (24.199) while in highway mode which was odd.
I still can't find update. Just manuals no other link to firmware?
Is it possible that the notch is still on but filtered very heavily at 10% or something like that?
Interesting! Out of curiousity, did this feature stem from one or a group of testers here?
I plugged in my r7 to imac with the cable it came with but no power any help please

I believe it was thanks to @BestRadarDetectors who first introduced it in the NR DSP.

Yep and they worked straight through for 72 hours to get it perfect! Ok just joking everyone before this little remark ruffles feathers.
You will not see anything on the R7 screen. This is normal. Unzip everything, install the drivers, run the installer, make sure it sees your R7 connected and displays current firmware, then browse for the updated .bin file and click start download.
Its not seeing my R7 tried to read current firmware says recconect usb cable i did nothing what am i doing wrong.
It will not power detector on.
Well, I will have to update tomorrow morning and try some runs with my R7 vs a Ka 34.7 speed sign.
