Hey guys,

I have a LrB that doesn't lock onto the target at all. All of the sudden this lidar started to do this. Any way to fix this cheap?

Need more details...
  1. Put it in "Range" mode only...can you get a distance only reading ?
  2. If the gun was dropped it could be it's "out-of-alignment" either vertically or horizontally...(as in you're not getting a reflected IR return signal)
3. Shoot the LR B at a wall 15ft away & use an IR camera to see if it really is transmitting a pattern output.

Sounds like diodes went bad. Lidars are ticking time bombs/Pain in the arse.

How come the old old old 2020/marksman guns still work? They look like they have been run over by a truck.

Worth it to fix?
Well it may cost total $500-$600 witch would include updated certification and fresh diodes and Whatever else might be wrong with it causing the issues plus shipping.

Fill out a RMA form and send it in and if it’s to much just pay the Cancellation fee and they will return it back to you.

$600? Ouch. You could get another good one used for cheaper than that. I'm still jealous of the one I found and posted the link to that @Vortex ended up buying. I don't think I understood at the time how good of shape it was at the time. Definitely one of the cleanest ones that I've seen come up on eBay in a long long time.

thanks
