No need for this BS. Beta testers will not sugarcoat testing results. Those that are beta testers were chosen for honesty and professionalism.

Those doubting the beta testers is from people who were not around for R3 beta testing from Texas group and Vortex! The beta testers will spend their own money for gas on repeated runs!! Won't get paid for their time!! Just so we can have a better product!! I commend Uniden for allowing some radar detector geeks to help them improve their tech!! Stop the bitching about its ugly!! It could look like a skunks butt for all I care as long as it has the range or further of the R3 and fair BSM filtering!! Icing on the cake is front and back detection with arrows!! Yeah!! Patience Danielson!!

It’s ok. Thanks for your support but we expect to be held accountable. It’s part of what we do. But yeah our main focus is always improving the product and helping all that we can. It’s not about sugar coating anything. It’s about progress and helping Uniden and the Communkty here make the products as good as they can be.

Can't find a heartbeat anymore. Does have scan display, though.

Thank you!!! Honestly, I didn't care for the heartbeat.. That scan display is what I liked on the 360max. Now I have no reason to keep it. Thank you for uploading!!
Noooooooooes! The heartbeat display is super useful for testing purposes. I only run it during tests but without that it will be difficult to tell when the detector sees a signal but doesn't alert due to filtering.

Just a question from someone who lives in a country where most people have right-hand drive cars.. Is there a setting to allow the display to be flipped to suit us folk who sit in the right-hand seat?

I am going to like the giant display. Progressive bi-focal free zone. :) tall puppy. Wonder how big a horn is under that rear cover.

Ditto. Heartbeat is very useful.

When you say lights up fully, do you mean "full brightness"? (I had an R3 early on where it would alert at a dimmed level, when waking up from fully dark... which REALLY annoyed me.)
I can't say if it's at full brightness, however, it is more than sufficient for viewing during the day and is quite noticeable at night.

Any word on if BSM is improved over the R3? Thanks for the sneak peek testers!
I would have "UNIDEN" tattooed across my forehead if they would segment K band as most BSM falses occur in the 24.197 and above range. My ride to work is 45 minutes of country back roads an an Acura SUV drove the R3 batsquat for a good 20 minutes until they turned off. 24.199. As always, K band came from Satan's anus.

There is a Dark Mode selection... Bright, Dim or Dimmer so you choose what you want to enter out of from dark mode.
