Anyone have any experience with the TruCam II - it's a model apparently not used in the US:

@mraissam has LI firmware 8.20, sensors 8.9 and is starting to see them in his country - it's been a while I think most of us have seen any TruCams operating around the US...

Trucams are used in NJ for years.Nothing Special about these just the unit can record video.I was shot with one October 13th 2018 on the NJTP. With only a price tag to own one for 12k.

I believe they are the same Pulserate as a regular truspeed so I think LI's should be ok against them.

Both "Original" & TruCam II use anti-jam f/w unlike the Std. TruSpeed which does not. Also, the TruSpeed LR uses a very similar anti-jam f/w, too.

Is the standard TS still manufactured? I'm surprised that they haven't put the anti-jam f/w on those too, as I thought the only difference between the standard and the LR was an artificial software limitation on distance.

There was a rumour back in the first days of TS in EU that AL was the one that helped LTi to build TS EU with the anti-jamming software for obvious reasons (call me competition). Anyone else heard this rumour or have any information about its validity?

Yeah, we get the TruCam here, and our standard TruSpeed's (aka TruSpeed2/EU) also use the same repeating VPR pattern.

ALPConnect shows 'TruSpeed-AJ' (anti-jam), and voice alerts 'TruSpeed or TruCam'

Basically, if it says '....or TruCam' its the repeating VPR pattern.

This is a laser interceptor forum. No it will not jam this newer gun. It will detect and jam the old school all black with blue stripe units.

Sick of here...
Trucams are used in Indiana as well. At least in the Lowell district... ISP district 13.

They should be easy to jam.

Again. This gun detects and defeats laser interceptor and older jammers. Laser Technology - TruCAM Laser Speed Gun with Video
I think TruCAM uses anti-jam firmware, the same as TSS EU/LR so it can be jammed with LI. I have report from a user that his LI jammed it.

If you have information - other than the official presented in LTi site - about a firmware update to the TSS/TruCAM that defeats jammers you can post them here.

TruCam uses the same pulse rate as the TruSpeed LR.

TruSpeed S, Sx, and Sxb are different pulse rates from the TruSpeed LR (which is again different from the regular TruSpeed).

Just tested on the highway today with State patrol. 3 second jtk, laser interceptor 8.20 does indeed detect fire and announce this big blue beast. But jamming it may be another story.

Minimum JTK for the LI is 5 seconds. Everything under 5 seconds results in unlimited jamming.
