Honestly I would pass on both and look at current devices on the market. ALP and TMG are the most popular units that are being updated regularly. Laser interceptor is dead and gone. No more support and can't jam most of the current guns.

Strongly suggest you don't do either. Where do you live?
If you face extremely complicated guns based on your area or get shot from very close, an ALP system would be best.

Maybe a TMG to save some money if the guns used aren't too complicated or Leos shoot at 1,000 ft away

LI's are ok against legacy stuff but against Stalker XLR they are very weak (meaning punchthrough at distances over 500 feet) to not supported based on firmware version of the gun, basically anything since 2014 there is a decent chance won't be covered. Stalker XLR's are very common guns, and it won't cover anything since about 2014 dragoneye wise. if all you see is older guns.... then they could be OK, just realize the hardware and software are unsupported and parts if needed are scarce.

Just to clarify, from what I've seen, it's only DragonEye that TMG has distance issues with and it's only closer than 300ft.

So if you don't face DragonEye, TMG may be a solid choice.

Lidar companies are giving incentives to police and encouraging them to upgrade thier old non vpr to vpr.
There giving the lidars out for free, especially Dragoneye!

Well... it depends where you live and what they use. Your system might be perfect where you are

I also have LOTS of spares if anyone is stuck for a part? Including two brand new vertical heads.

Un-popular opinion, run it. It's not going to do you any harm, is it?

Cork, Ireland.
And not to mention someone with LI's just had theirs fail and he got nailed. Those ebay ones might be on their way out and are made by a company that is no longer in existence.
That would be me and I'm in Ireland and the LEOs over here most likely have only LTI 2020s and ULs in their arsenal but I still bought an ALP HiFi at the weekend.

Just not worth it to throw money at those LIs on eBay. I saw them too and they were considerably cheaper but I passed cos my one failed me, god knows how long ago and I was driving around for ages not knowing I was flying blind until I got busted a week ago with no warning of this.

Well, almost no warning. My LI would not power up facing the sun. Drive a bit to one side and it would start up fine but once you are facing the sun again, I reckon it was being interfered with and no warning until I got a ticket. Now it seems they wont work unless its cloudy out or dark at night.

Go for the best and you wont regret it.

I have the LI dual HP 9.0 on my ISF, I eat Prolasers and LTi's for lunch.

Haven't gone against any older or newer Stalker units, but I'm sure that would be a bit more challenging.

As others mentioned, go with ALP dual RX + 1 TX.
