Wanted to put a teaser out.

We did two full days of testing various radar detectors this past weekend. Lots of good results and some surprising.

Detectors used.
whistler CR97
Escort Max360c
Beltronics GT360
Beltronics GT1
V1
Uniden r1
Radenso Pro M
Escort ixc
TPX
Redline ex
xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx
max360 o

We had two courses over the two days. One was right at 5 miles long, and the second was around four miles with a few dips in the road. We only got 34.7 tested, but we did do both C/O, I/O, both coming at the radar source and coming up behind the radar source while the radar gun was FF.

sorry all, we did not test the DFR9 but we did test the PRO m and the whistler cr97

i clipped one of wires, and had to take it out. I think once I get the wire fixed I will save enough money to get it pro installed. too much can go wrong doing it myself.

Were there any results from this radar testing? I'm curious about the TPX radar detector

I still do have the unit.
Hopefullyf after this weekend it will grace those hands again. Did two tests with it, but not enough to provide good testing info. One test was against a LEO on a near straight road and curve, and other was with @Kennyc56. This weekend, if all looks good with weather get a final on it. When it comes to daily driving against in my Area of travels, BSMs and other filtering on this unit is a wash.

I can add a comment about this detector! The TPX got the worst range of any of the detectors that @VariableWave and I have tested so far against 35.5. It also did the unthinkable, it switched the alert from C/O 35.5 to K band DURING THE RUN! I was not impressed with it at all needless to say! We will give it another shot and see how it does. So far, not so good!
