I have an R3 and an R1. I really like them a lot and trust them.
If and when Radenso designs a new unit, this will be my next future radar detector.
With all the reviews, testing and customers assistance, it's all very promising to me.
I was going to purchase a Radenso in the past but I bought my R3 instead.
I have a feeling Radenso will produce an awesome updated unit that may or will beat Uniden even though both units you cannot go wrong.
I cannot wait to see what Radenso will produce in the near future!

I agree.

Its been a week since I sold my R3 (2 months old) for the Alberta friendly Pro M. Night and day. The bsm filtering is unbelievable. I used to get lots of them with the 3 but this beast is far superior. It doesn't look as sexy as the r3 but I have grown to love it. As for the MRCD detections, well most of the usual spots have been vacant for me probably too cold for the precious boyz? Anyway I made the right choice and look forward to using this device being my daily driver. Ps it sucks being in Canada as all I want is a visor mount for my Mercedes-Benz and can't order from the USA. #bummer. I will try visions for an order then, none on their website.
Have you reached out to @Radenso to see if they can help you out? The may have an exclusive distribution agreement with Automobility on the detectors, but that may not apply to the accessories?

I’ve run into that problem with Escort being here in Edmonton with you. They won’t sell you a detector, but were willing to sell and ship cords and such.

I find the look of the pro M way better than the uniden. The color display I like on the uniden but the size of the pro M I have grown to love. Almost a must have now

Could imagine how quiet the pro M would be if there were no speed signs.

Today due to the cold snap we have had. My suction mount fell off (eBay mount and not radenso mount) so I had the pro M on the passenger seat. Not thinking. I went thru a mrcd spot. The alert happened pretty much at the same time as the flash. Probably doing 15 over or so. Pretty sure I won’t get a ticket in the mail as my plate is covered with snow. Snow and cold temps ftw for me this time.

Yup, Randy replied and mentioned about distribution set up in Canada and has to be visions who would order from automobility. I tried the manager twice with no luck. Amazon US has them for sale but can't be shipped, amazon Canada says no idea when we are getting them, what gives with us Canadians then, bum Deal again I feel

Can you PM me your email address, phone and which accessory you are looking to buy? On Monday when I get back into the office I’ll try and reach someone with Automobility to have visions reach out to you. Sorry that visions isn’t responding to you, I want to make sure you can purchase any Radenso product you need. Thanks!

That’s great Randy.

Ya Visions is kind of flaky. More of a wholesale stereo and tv type warehouse place. I try to avoid it like the plague if I can help it.

Hopefully there’s other options in the future.

Frig. I love visions because it’s like a wholesale place. I don’t buy often but when I do. Visions is where I look for great prices.

I have a visor mount for my Pro M that I will never use. If you can't work it out with Visions, you can have it if you pay the shipping.

I know a guy that had a budget and Him and his wife both had input on spending. He rode his bike to work and stuff. During his commute to and from work. He would collect cans and bottles. He bought some pretty neat stuff (wife didn’t know) with the cash

Just a quick update; still no trigger pulled. But I did run up to Orlando with my V1 over the weekend. WITH K band on, I wanted to rip my hair out. WITH K band off, it was quiet. I live in SW Florida, I've only ever seen LIDAR & Ka. I did see one cop running Ka south bound, otherwise a pretty quiet drive with no hiccups. That being said, it's looking like we're moving back to Colorado Springs in June, I can't remember if I ever picked up K band there. Usually just K speed signs, LIDAR & Ka.

Escort 9500ix - The BSM filtering is non-existent, lol. If the R7 came with the same BSM filtering as the Pro M, I would purchase the R7 hands down. Maybe that's an option, wait for the R7 and see how it performs? My weight is based mostly on BSM performance and ease of use. The main guy from Uniden coming over is just an added bonus.
My 2 cents worth. I sent back my pro -m and still own my 9500ix.BSM on the pro-m was very good, but it got a lot of Ka band on road adjacent to me ! And some extra K band from long distances. So all and all there were almost as many alerts! Could not justify $450. P.s. I set for no alerts below 35 on the Pro-M

In my area it is 40%+ K band, so it is a must to have turned on. A town close to the one I live in does run some Lidar, but honestly think it is a waste for them (At times). I've seen them set up on the side of the highway, but there is so much traffic Lidar must be fairly useless. There have been times I've run up on them behind trucks or other cars and they never saw me until I drove by. I wouldn't want to be sitting in a B&W trying to pick off traffic one by one wearing my neck out day after day.

Did you use our recommended settings? I haven't heard of anyone having many Ka false alerts.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Ka false?

Something doesn’t seem right. I can’t think of anything that would cause a Ka false besides a Cobra or running a second detector beside each other

I know for sure my neighbors pro m sets off 35.5 on my pro M. Not always just randomly here and there. I have my ka filter set to “off” though. Interestingly though. My pro M has never set off his pro M.

Ka 34.7 is extremely strong though. Especially on open terrain. When I take the east leg of the henday south. I enter at the yellowhead. That section is patrolled by the sherwood park boys. But I can pickup ka 34.7 from the Edmonton cops patrolling the north and north east portion of the henday

Mine too.

I can get both my Pro-M’s to false each other on Ka band within 20 seconds of each other on the windshield.

The Pro-M and RC-M will false each other when up close to a fence, wall, or another car when within 10 feet.

The RC-M will false the R-Ex to 34.472. Again within 10 feet of something to reflect the signal back.

Still, Ka false’s on the road are ultra rare outside of cobras that I’ve run across.

I did hear once on RDF of a few places that have been messing with some Ka Band speed/maintanance signs in the states.

Same with some military bases that might use it C/O to monitor speed on the base. That, I’ve heard of as well.

Not saying it can’t happen as there are some instances as I’ve mentioned above, but personally...... I can’t think of one ever.
