R1/R3 1.48
(Last Updated 01/18/2019)

*Improved Laser falsing

*Improved detection delay when MRCD is on

*Red light database updated 1/4/2019

Posted on Unidens Firmware page:

Radar Detectors - Uniden Support

Additional release notes per @Vortex with the assistance of @Brainstorm69 & @hiddencam seen in post #55:

*Detector is now very reactive to K band QT, even when TSF enabled

*Detector reactivity to K band QT has been improved with MRCD enabled as well

*TSF improved to reduce traffic sensor false alerts with TSF enabled (Not sure if this affects BSM filtering as an unintentional side-effect)

*For the new bogey alert, the detector remembers if it had alerted to a signal before and prevent unit from switching back and forth between signals.

Wonder if this is just something that was in the works prior to the upcoming 1.5x firmware line.

Thanks for the share!

What’s great about 1.37 as opposed to the 2 newer updates?

Edit: I saw some K-Band delay issues listed with 1.46. I’m in the Sacramento area, with K-Band off. And Ka Segmented to 5,8.

I believe if I am not mistaken @hiddencam has told us that we will like this upgrade.

With the R7 coming out, it is so interesting that the fanfare normally associated with R1/R3 updates is not as fervent as I have seen in the past. While the 1.49 update seems relatively minor, usually there are multiple pages of posts by now - good and bad, lol.

Yep same here. If they bring back 1.37 TSF I’ll try it, otherwise I’m sitting out.
You might want to check out 1.48. I believe the TSF issues have been improved.

I was thinking the same.....however I have noticed (what seems to be) a decline is users on RDF with the new 'theme' during the upgrade. Normally I can log on and have a couple pages of new posts, where since the change it has been about a half page or so. I know thinks will go back to normal, but just an additional issue.
