Congratulations on the getting the new forum software up and running. I would imagine, a very difficult process.

One question; how do I make the persistent chat box go away? I find it to be a bit obtrusive, and givin a choice, I’d prefer it minimized.

I’m running an fully updated iPhone X. Accessing the site via Safari. Not using an app.

Is there only one "theme" to chose from? I can't see any way to change it. Thanks.

Okay Xydrine, that's what I've been doing today already.

It's not a huge issue, but using this method in the past has allowed me hide the chat box at the bottom and yet access the chat at the top. Now it actually disables chat entirely on my end. I was just wondering if I was missing something. :) I'm sure you have bigger fires to put out so don't worry about this just for me. :)

Thanks!

I think I figured out what works like it used to. If I choose Sidebar Top or Bottom in the view off of the options, then it acts like before I think.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I’m in the process of following your instructions (thanks for the helpful screenshot).

From my IPhone X screen, via safari

- touch “hamburger” menu in upper left
- scroll to the bottom of drop down menu

From that point on, settings is the only button I can’t access because it’s too close to the bottom of phone’s screen (lower left).

When I try to push/activate settings, because of the buttons proximity to the bottom, it brings up Safari’s menu.

I’ll get it figured out.

Pinch zoom to enlarge the webpage and scroll over to it.

I had the same issue. Hold your phone horizonally, that moves the Safari control area to the top, and then you can hit the settings.

Bingo! That gave me the ability to select settings. Thank you.

I just realized a mistake I was making; I was trying to access an incorrect settings menu. xydrine was pointing me toward the options for chat. I went down the path of settings for my account.

Chat settings are accessed inside the chat dashboard.

Simply put...however you can access/pull up the chat dashboard...follow xydrine’s screenshot at the beginning of this post. That will allow you to disable the chat box.
