Greetings:
Over the weekend I tried running Detector Tools for the first time in several weeks. Didn't have the 360 connected, just wanted to run the program and have it look for updates. It didn't even open up. Running (or trying to) on a Win7 Pro box. Is this expected behavior since Escort's push to use only the "pro" version?

There might be a newer version of the program out. Also looking at Escort's site, they are requiring the pro tool for the 360. It does seem like all the newer detectors will only work on the pro tool.

While Escort is attempting to migrate all RDs to DT Pro to simplify matters going forward, it has not done so yet . Some still require DT, some require DT Pro, and some will work with either.
You can have a copy of each program on your computer without any interference between them.

It is recommended to delete the old DT before installing the new DT.
DT Pro can normally be installed right over its previous version. I believe the DT Pro is better to try to use with the newer blue tooth chips being used by Escort.

Below is the link to Escorts recommended downloads for each RD and a compatibility listing

Yes. However none of these new "features" concern me with my older 360, not a "C" version. I don't care for the dumbing down of the program with the removal of options that were in the original DT. I cannot say yet if the version of DT I have installed is the latest (thought it was), but I'm more concerned by the fact that the program did not even load. I will try again tonight when I get home from work and start the computer. If others can say that DT still loads and runs, then I know it's a problem on my end.
