Everything else that's turned on is green or no color. Only Ka is red. The band is definitely active.

I don't know for sure, but I'll take a wild stab at it....I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm not right....
X-band may or may not be from police
K-band may or may not be from police
Ka-band...you better "drop anchor",:omg: 'cause it is the police! :police3:

Are you talking about the bottom center section? That area is color coded for easy viewing I'd think. The only color that indicates a feature or band is disabled is gray. If it has a different color, it's active.

Those band colors follow the alert colors.
Green = X
Amber = K
Red = Ka

Sorry @BlueV1 , did read to see who posted the screen shot. Looks like you answered this before I answered.

Ka is on in the above screenshot. The colors just differentiate the different bands. It would be grayed out if it was off such as the TMF icon or the TMG icon. I believe the colors dictate the level of threat. Red being the most likely and green being the least.

Ka and Laser are Red because they are the most important reaction time wise and knowing for sure whether they are active or accidentally deactivated. RED is the color for danger not green or blue.

Those are my thoughts why JB picked red at least. YMMV.

Yes, this is what it looks like. Ok, so red is normal, then. Thanks.
Laser and X are off. Strangely, it doesn't say Ka Guard at all...

The screenshot I posted was from running the demo.
So it sounds like you have laser off and X-band off. Ka Guard is off too which is good.
TMF in most situations should probably be on and that's green when enabled.

I can see how the red and orange colors at the bottom might imply that those settings aren't working, but I do like seeing the different colors for added readability. :)

Yeah, TMF is on, which shows half moon green, X off, Laser off, and I guess Ks Guard too. Thanks for the clarification.
