No radar yet. That is what I hope to learn about here.

For monitoring, I am using a BC 125AT. Mostly focused on monitoring CHP and Bay Area LEAs. Where I am most local LE is on UHF. Only county SO is trunked.

My biggest challenge right now is finding an antenna to pick up CHP well. I can not mount on the car externally. So looking for a stealth antenna solution.

No reason not to run Waze also. Alot of people like it. I've rarely found it that helpful, with reported LEO's gone when I get there.
