So not sure where the right location for this post is. So apologies if this is the wrong location.
Yesterday I got a false alarm for the Poliscan when one of the new Audi A8s drove in the opposite direction.
As you may know the new (D5) Audi A8 is the most advanced "ready for autonomous driving" car out there right now.

Only ran into one of these cars once so far, checking to see if others have experienced the same?

The new Audi's use a laser scanner that uses a similar pulse rate and the output is very strong and they will cause false alerts. Europe is investigating if its possible to ignore them without risking real threats. It will take some time to analyze the new technology that Audi is using.

Hopefully not an issue with Poliscan and TraffiStar S350 being very similar in algo and in use simultaneously in EU and AU countries

Not sure I follow? I think there is a known issue that we do get the false alarms from the Audi systems?

What I was trying to say was that hopefully it is easy for AL's engineering team to filter the new Audi, without compromising the detection of the Poliscan and the S350.

AL's false filtering is already very good. If the Audi is causing a poliscan false, even with poliscan false rejection turned on, it must be very similar in nature to the real poliscan algo, hence may be difficult to filter out.

I see. Not sure if Poliscan is used in my area (US, Northeast)?
To clarify - I have the false rejection tunred on, but also have poliscan jamming turned on.
If there are no Poliscans in my area, I would disable Poliscan jamming.

Since these are now landing in the US/Canada market, can you please post an update if/when this is resolved (if it is?). Thanks!
