For Albertan's, how does the Radenso Pro M work for you?

So during the summer I got slapped with a bunch of tickets and decided to invest in a detector. Through research I found that the Radenso Pro M was the best at the time for a windshield mounted Mcrd detector. Since having it I rarely pick up radar trucks that just aren't sitting on the side of the road in direct sight. So if they are in the bank or behind a tree it will not pick it up approaching or passing it. So far all this device has done was tell me what vehicles have blind spot detection which is super annoying.

I can share my settings too. Just interested to hear other's experiences and any recommendations on settings to pick up these trucks better.

I've found it's excellent in urban environments. It will pickup active MRCD photo radar trucks with plenty of warning to slow down, and it's pretty quiet, except against a couple of BSM systems.

If trucks are sitting behind trees or hiding in a ditch those could have been LIDAR running DragonCam. Does it say what you were hit with at the top of the tickets?

Some of those vehicles use LIDAR (DragonCam) so you'll need laser jammers to defend against them. Also, just because the MRCD truck is parked on the side of the road doesn't mean they are actively enforcing at the time (could be setting it up or the operator having a break). Post your settings so we can see if those need adjustments at all :)

The pro M has been awesome for me since firmware us4.

What are your settings?

I run these settings and I pick up mrcd pretty good. There is the super rare time that it would be too late. In Edmonton 170st northbound 116ave or so. Where it’s literally 6-7 lanes wide and 0 cars in front. I only got the alert after passing the truck

As said earlier. Edmonton has trucks with dragoneye laser and not mrcd. So those won’t alert

I don’t really get many bsm alerts. The odd time I will get a md/mt alert that I know is false by the area I’m in. And also the rare occurance I get k band from another vehicle

Thanks for the input guys!

Does it say what you were hit with at the top of the tickets
I can't remember for sure what i was hit with since it was in the summer. I never knew that photo radar trucks were running LIDAR now. Thought it was only cops and cruisers running them, and radar trucks would run MCRD. That could possibly be it. Learn something new everyday i guess.

I get falsing from new Mazdas and new Subarus. The Subaru falsing is weaker though.
I also notice my detector falsing to almost every type of vehicle, fords, mazdas, subarus, acuras, lexus, dodge/jeep/chryslers. Its pretty annoying. Some days its bad and others days it seems to filter them ok. But there is times in traffic where my detector will be going off for 10min or more behind a vehicle just falsing. I can mute it but other times it will constantly filter it then pick it back up so i have to keep my finger on the mute button or just turn off the detector.

What are your settings?
Ill have to grab my settings and upload them later since im at work right now. But i went off the settings i got from a few pages here on the forums except i turned off K-band as i commute on the Whitemud and its littered with speed signs and got real annoying. Maybe im behind on a update, last time i updated was in the Fall.

If you are falsing to those vehicles it sounds like you need to enable the TSR filter. I run mine set to "high" but you could start with "low" and go from there.

I would definitely check to make sure you've got the latest update. You can use the manual GPS lockouts for the speed signs also.

It shouldn't false that much. Are you using the latest firmware, and/or have you done a factory reset?

After that, you can adjust the settings when you run AutoCity so that it is silent while not moving.

I am currently running:
AutoCity: 0 90
Min speed: 20

I get full alerts only over 20kmph, and it switches to highway sensitivity at 90kmph
I still get Ka (actual police) alerts even when not moving

Ill see if turning it to high would help, im pre sure im on low right now. Im also to nervous about locking out speed signs as they are usually next to areas on the whitemud where the trucks like to hide.

Ill take a look on the site and double check if i got the latest version. My last update was in the fall. I'll still try doing a fresh reset and update this weekend just to see if it helps. I think right now im on auto city with 0-100 just for full sensitivity on the whitemud cuz i sometimes get going around 90 or so on the way home. And i still get Ka but very rarely.

The trucks are MRCD and GPS K band lockouts will NOT lockout MRCD.
