The TMG remote app works splendid btw for what you guys are trying to achieve while also being more flashy and useful when you get hit by LIDAR. The defender app is still mainly for updating your CTRL and ALGOs.

This board has really slowed down since the shake-up.
Yeah, also there's something new on the horizon for people to discuss/argue about (R7). I like the distraction personally.

I wouldn't say the R7 has caused a distraction on the forum. Once the site shut down and the drama started it slowed for sure. But consumers are still here regardless. I just feel that things may be quite here on the forums but behind the the curtains some development is being done. That's my pennies.

It's not just the lack of traffic on this board, it's the lack of the previous enthusiasm that's really noticeable.
Where did the, "TMG - faster than a speeding bullet - able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!" attitude go?

Where did the attitude go?
Maybe most waiting patiently for the new algo/firmware updates that's been promised. Jag said there's been more testing, etc.

I believe a lot of the enthusiasm was tempered by the TMG testing results against DE/Stalker posted here by members. If TMG can address these issues, I'm sure renewed enthusiasm will return.

Personally waiting for the VPR heads so I can install that as a third, align my current two in the grill and test again! ;)

PS: Of course the possible snow and a day or two of 8 degree mornings is a turn off too.

I agree, I am waiting to spend more money with TMG as soon as that head is released.

I'm eagerly awaiting the VPR Head as well. It would be nice if @Jag42 or someone else could give us an update on it.
Not asking for when it will be ready, but more about how it's preforming.

Are we going to have to pay more for an updated head so soon after the original unit has been released?

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that there's gonna be an introductory price and then it will be more afterwards. However, keep in mind that these new heads will be more expensive to manufacture.

Think of it like a TX ALP head. You don't need it but it'll help with VPR guns like the DE. Either way most of us current owners are ready to buy it as a 3rd head etc! :)

or to swap out the 3rd head that some of us already have along with swapping out one of the two heads at the rear.

For me, I have plans for the 2 original heads. Planning on getting a 2 head system (with the new heads) and pair the 2 original heads to create a 4 head setup for my motorcycle.

Exactly. 3rd head VPR head then move current heads to rear and also run another VPR head. Bike is getting the left over heads!

I hope @Jag42 lets us return a head for credit if we get a new one.
Would be nice I guess but don't hold your breath. Like any product something newer and "better" always comes out and we don't get refunds. Sell it if you want somebody will nab it once good reviews start popping up again! Personally like I said I'm gonna move it to the bike, etc. and try to do something creative in the rear as during testing @ThreePedals6.2 noted that I have really high brake lights that could be used as a bounce off point so I may actually need to run 3 heads back there as well! :hmm:
