Considering he was moving the R3 warned from quite a big distance. Do you think if you were speeding he would have gotten you? I'm asking because he seems to be very close to the car in front of him and I don't know how quickly and effectively the radar picks opposite lane speed in that situation.

Thanks for sharing. They almost always show up around curves. I have experienced 35.5 in similar situations and range off-axis on a curve like this is a lot less- had a 35.5 curve last night and a few weeks ago and only had 3-4 seconds to react- oncoming constant on.

That definitely could have been disasterous! I might not have been cruising 80 after the pass but prob 70 easy
