Is this a troll or does the OP not understand the difference between Mph and Kph ?

107Mph = 172.2 Kph

150Kph = 93.206 Mph
Yeah but he mentioned being pulled over by a NYS trooper who would likely have been using MPH.

Most of us can figure out the units based on where the person was pulled over, etc. But in this case, OP appears to have used kph when he/she was pulled over in NYS. If you're going to do that, it's best to post the units. Otherwise it could just as easily be m/s or something else. www.wired.com: Nov. 10, 1999: Metric Math Mistake Muffed Mars Meteorology Mission
I don't think he's confusing the two. In this post, he said he was passing cars by going over 100 mph.

And in this post, he said he couldn't slow from 150-65 fast enough. 65 is most likely the speed limit on 87, where he got pulled over.

Going 150 mph in a Yukon, that's a different story.

Maybe it was a Hennessy Yukon?

Still very hard to believe with the terrain. The curves come up quick in a lot of places and you can regularly come across truckers (or other slow drivers) hogging both lanes doing 45 up a big hill. There are a lot of potholes and frost heaves in some places also, you can do it easily with the right vehicle, but usually only for brief periods.

--- DOUBLEPOST MERGED ---

Just curious, was he marked on Waze?
From what the op stated, I gathered the LEO was moving.

If OP was actually doing 150 MPH in that truck (which I highly doubt), then the ticket is well deserved.

It think some of it is a misinterpretation of km/h and maybe English being a 2nd language.

Mixed up the two speeds 150 km/h down to 65 mph.

Max speed 107 mph on hwy 87.

If he’s heading back to Montreal, he’s going back to Quebec.

Not to insult anyone, French is pretty much the primary language and schooling in Quebec only. English rarely used outside of Montreal. There’s even laws prohibiting English on street signs and shop signs.

It’s not uncommon to to find Canadians that cannot speak or write English at all. Just as I cannot speak very much French and cannot write it at all.

Might have to give the guy a break. Just like the trooper must have done. Like big time. My ass probably would’ve been in front of a judge pronto bronto and my car seized.

aight, one key point here is Waze can only mark stationary cops. If he was moving then he wouldn't be on Waze. So that question is answered.

@Yglr3, we only ask these questions to get a broad understanding of you situation. You got a ticket from NYSP for 107 "MPH" correct?

Tried to give you the benefit of doubt over how your posting seems to be from somewhere else....... but if that’s your story...... 150 mph Yukon, .....in the winter, ....passing cars at 100 mph +, but it’s not your vehicles , didn’t end up in front of a judge..... has stuff done to it but don’t know as your not a car guy...... just run whatever you drive balls out...... sounds good to me.

Man, that’s really fast. The other day I had my GMC Dually pickup truck up to like 155 mph.

Obviously, you need to ditch the Audi and get a Yukon. Them Yukon's can handle 150 easily.

And what happen to your post about not getting anymore tickets?? Someone doesn't do what they preach?
www.rdforum.org: Got a ticket, but my detector never went off. Should I fight it?
Ye your right I’m going to try I’m taking someone who knows the stuff well to the court date because I’m still learning and not yet professional
