Yep, Even with all that range I/O is still a killer. He spotted you coming up fast and hit the button. It happens to the best of us somedays, at least since you had the R3 you know that it wasn't a range issue, you had the best range you could have had, there was no beating this particular I/O, he was being selective enough. If you had a lesser detector you would be left wondering if more range would have helped. I/O is the worst. Fight the ticket and get it reduced!

I don't drive fast at night time. You are limited by vision. That can get you burned. If I drive fast its in day time where vision is unlimited. When I do drive fast at night it is just short bursts.

Instant owned unfortunately. Sorry to hear that man. Nothing can save you against that if you don't have a rabbit up front to take a hit to give you an alert...IF you get an alert.

150? Maybe he was talking kph not mph. That does seem a bit high for a Yukon but I have no idea. Any Yukon owners out there willing to risk jail
I plan to test my set up of Waze, R3, AlPriority in Nevada desert in the spring. I’m going to push as close to 200 mph as my nerves will allow. I’m in a Porsche Panamera Turbo S. On YouTube I’ve seen several push 316 jump even though max is listed at 190 mph or 305 kph. 200 mph is 321.8 kph.
I’m pretty sure I’ll chicken out before I even hit 160 mph or even 150 mph. Most I’ve ever done is 130 when I was much younger.

Well..... except that 110 mph limiter. I bounced mine off it one night.

Well, when police Dodge chargers top out at 149 mph. The 5.3 in the regular Yukon isn’t going to do it. I doubt my 6.2 in the Denali will.

Top speed of a Yukon is 180 km/h, not 150. He must be talking km/h because it won't even get close to 150 MPH, even if you remove the limiter. Air drag would be too much even at max power output.
