So where all are the MRCD and MRCT in use so far?

As far as I'm aware, here's the current list:

MRCD: Alberta, NYC, Maryland, & Washington D.C.

MRCT: Chicago

Is that about right? In Alberta, is it primarily Edmonton and Calgary or do other towns have them too? What about Texas? I've heard people mention it in use there, but I haven't seen any specific info confirming this.

The speed/RLC's in the Phoenix area are MRCT, no mobile units though. Vortex, I noticed some of these at an intersection just south of SeaTac the other day while in a hotel shuttle (on International IIRC). Have you ever driven by any of these in seattle to see if you get MRCD/MRCT alerts?

Oh really? I believe there was Redflex in use for the mobile units, but I don't remember off the top of my head whether that was NM or AZ. How have you been able to confirm?

Really? I'll try that out next time I head down there. I think the next time will be when heading out for CES next month.

I'm 99.9% sure they're not MultaRadar, but it's always worth a check. :)

Speaking of which, I think it'd be helpful to have something that helps people verify what types of systems are in use in their area so that we have a good way of confirming if something is MultaRadar, Redflex, Gatso, or just another regular speed camera of some sort.

Good idea Vortex! Lets do it, an international version though not just NA. I will support for the GCC. We got people here from SA, EU and Australia that can feed this project as well

Poliscan use laser. It should be detectable by an RD that got laser detection feature

Not if you get hit in the rear. And not 100% alert with a RD
Since I live in an area that is full of Poliscan, TMG (detecting and jamming), ALP (detecting only), Radenso’s and Valentine 1 proved to be the most effective .... so far ... from all angles

I think it'd be helpful to make a column on the RDFGS for Multi-radar since it seems to be something that will increasingly be seen.

I think Madhatter reported the Redflex in Phoenix AZ as 24.028.

Which one and where in Iowa?

I know there's the Gatso RT-2 and RT-3 in Iowa.

Do you have some additional specifics regarding what's in use there?
I don’t have permission for your link. Yes, I participated in a posting about a Cedar Rapids. They Listed the manufacturer of the product, their customer reference story on a Cedar Rapids. Gatso. Which, BTW, this system has been in a long time. I was running V1s and Max O back then, where they both picked the system up going through town. The transmitters and cam system were mounted up in the road signs. I had no ideas back then what they where. Except the RDs gave short notice (and a couple saves until figured out the location of systems).
