True speed on Meadowbrook

Last night I was driving back home around 3:30 am when zooming pass an overpass onto Meadowbrook I got snapped by a True speed not sure if I recall the system telling me which model but I do remember it going into warm-up and not seen anything or anyone.

R3 never went off. Normally when it's a trooper I've been getting a true 34.7 nor Waze gave me anything.

Since the roads were so deserted I have decided to do a 15 miles drive back onto the same location in order to spot the LEO. I hate to think maybe someone else in a car behind was responsible for the shooting. So I did.

On the way back all of my systems were silent. As I approach the location nobody was there. So I made the U turn in order to head back and yet nothing again.

This happened on my way South right after the Nassau Coliseum Stadium.

Cheers

I had a TS false a few months ago sitting in traffic at a light and there was a Benz in front of me. Do you have the newest firmware installed Ermo?

If you got a hit like that on the meadowbrook, I'm sure as hell that was a real hit. Either the Trooper wasn't coming out, or he targeted someone else. When you came back I guess he was on a phone call or something. I've been on the meadowbrook for years even with my LI's and I've never been hit with anything

My first speeding ticket (1968) was on the Meadowbrook Parkway, got hit going south with RADAR (of course) ~ 1 mile north of the Babylon Turnpike exit

@Ermo x update to the latest software available for the ALP. There was a fix for Truspeed falsing caused by newer Mercedes vehicles BUT on the Meadowbrook that was most likely a legit hit.

A new benze would do this. Typically you will see a trooper, even on an overpass in your mirror or windshield.

Since you guys are typically driving on Long Island, can you tell me how you have your R3 setup?

I have a V1 and I have see 34.7 pretty much dead on 34.660-720 from state police and all highway patrol units for all counties.
