I am running the latest version with AppleCarplay. Works great, however what are the numbers on the roads, not the PSL, but little numbers like 39, 19 etc shows on different roads?

I am not 100% sure, but I think they represent the recent average speed of Waze users on that particular road. I recently wondered this myself & found only one reference to it on the web. The numbers are tiny on my (android) phone, so whatever they mean they are pretty useless (for me). What's puzzling is that they don't appear on every road.

I thought they represented the delay time in the road due to traffic.

sschwar2 That screen shot is too funny, a cop marked near a dunken donuts...

Thanks. I will tried to get a photo but the challenge was when grabbed my lphone waze backgrounded, off the ideive screen, so I need a 2nd phone.

What you suggested makes sense, others cars speed limits, maybe they and you have to logged into waze to see their speed, not sure...

That is the current sorte of the drivers in that congestion pulling days from Waze users and all Google map users....

You can swipe up, click on routes and she the time other routes would take you.

The police next to Dunkin donuts is a classic.

between my autocorrect am I misspelling you sometimes need a translator to understand me. My apologies

it should say you were seeing the speed of the Waze and Google map users in front of you going through that section that is red. I suggest you swipe up from the bottom and look at routes to see if going around the traffic will save you time and keep you moving or if it's best to sit through it.

I have seen 2 beta versions where they're going to actually show you on the map alternate routes but they're not ready for public release.
