I mentioned there is an issue with TMG vs DETC when it comes to re-triggering. Some of you wanted to see videos of what they are. So here it is.

I also remember it being mentioned somewhere that the problem has not been fixed and a firmware will be issued for testing shortly. The firmware is not available for the public or for beta testers yet so I do not know if the new solution works. But figured I would illustrate it here anyways.

Sorry for the shaky gun holding. It was cold and it's really hard to hold it steady with a camera pointing into it. Normally I can keep it right on the headlights.

Can you elaborate a tiny bit on what the issue is? If you let off the DETC trigger and get back on it, the TMG does not react properly and does not "shift"? I assume this is with the TMG in receive mode.

    Thanks for clarification.

It just fails to jam if you let go of the trigger and press it again.

This was with tmg in defense mode.

So theoretically, can you defeat the TMG with that firmware if you tap the DETC trigger once quickly before trying to get the car's speed?

Does the same issue arise if you take the gun off of the car and then bring it back without releasing the trigger? Or if the TMG picks up scatter from a different car being targetted and starts "defending" and then the DETC is pointed at the TMG car?

The first PT you see is a legitimate PT. I just started shooting and it got a lock.

The second you see is what happens when you let go and press it again. Panning like your described can create the same effect but not too the same degree. Sometimes it causes pt and sometimes it doesn't. You need to press the trigger for a while so that the gun actually shoots. You can't just tap the button and expect it to work.

This was just to demonstrate what the issue is. I was told they fixed it already on an upcoming patch. So don't take the test too seriously.

This is exactly how it should work; testers finding holes and vendors running it up the chain for a fix. Thanks for the video @PY004, it really does help to see in person.

Thanks @PY004 for sharing. Probably most of us will never actually get to shoot a gun so its great to watch, does take some skill.

While many earlier comments jumped on you for posting the earlier testing results, you cant fix an issue if you dont know what it is, so appreciate it.

For those of us that purchased TMG at intial
release, we knew (if you didn't you should have) it would be a work in progress. I have been impressed with how quickly they have made changes and updates so far, and looks like this one will be addressed quickly too...

Thanks. Yours was totally fine because it was constructive and laid out what the problem is. I just got annoyed by all the other people sending me hate messages.

Is this re-sync issue present against all VPR guns or just all DET guns or just on a specific DET FW gun?
