So uh yeah, I'm Ben, typical kiwi, can't speak the good Queen's english for the life of me, and generally end sentences with either chur, bro, mate, or the something along those lines.

Mainly got onto this forum to check out some of the handy tricks and such on becoming a better radar user and installer, as up until now, I've been on the precipice of delving into the rabbit's hole, and I would like to think that the beginning of that is joining here. I've seen plenty of testing done by users here and it certainly left an impression that I would like to join in here and see what I can add to the table, along with more importantly what can I learn from this forum.

I currently run an Escort 9500ix but am currently looking into jammers, and quite possibly something stealth installed considering I work with stealth radars quite a bit, and have taken to the Genevo Pro NZ over the past year or so.

Welcome to RDF @benjiman0!

Lots of Kiwi's here, you'll fit right in :) How are you liking the Genevo Pro? I assume it's similar to the Radenso Pro in NA?

Haven't got one installed yet, been awaiting such a time as to when I'm basically pushed to get something new, which seems to be now considering the Redflex camera systems in NZ. Have installed many a Genevo however, and they are fantastic units, they are effectively the same as a Radenso Pro however designed for the NZ market, meaning the emphasis is on other bands and pickups

Welcome mate :)

The Radenso Pro M (equivalent to the Genevo One M) are also sold in AU now with the AU camera database installed, along with the Radenso RC M (equivalent to the Genevo Pro M). You can even get the Genevo models from another AU distributor.

Radenso seem to be priced lower in AU than the Genevo counterparts.

The Radenso Pro M and Genevo Pro M are the windshield mount counterparts of Genevo Pro NZ systems (available here for reference, we have only just started getting the Pro M's in NZ with NZ databases, will be interesting once we get one in to see how good it is, as the Pro NZ's have fantastic detection all around!

Welcome to RDF!

Awesome, having a quick look around, I've seen your name come up a bit and nice to know there's a few people around Christchurch that are radar keen. I've done around a dozen Genevo Pro NZ installs over the past year, and a few from other brands (K40, Stinger VIP's, Max Ci's, etc)

To be fair, there's a wealth of knowledge here too, going to spend a fair amount of time lurking trying to take in what's here!

Welcome aboard, it's always nice to see more members from Oz join up. Keep posting.
NZ but close enough, we live on an island next to them hidden away just enough that we don't cause any trouble haha!

My apologies, I couldn't tell from the flag. I understand calling New Zealanders "Aussies" is a hangable offense in those parts?

Very much so, expect our piddly wee group of 15 GCSB (our FBI) executives to be watching you over the coming weeks
