I recently switched to iphone for my dedicated ALP/NetRadar display. The display works better for me visually because I can use polarizing sunglasses without it darkening the screen. I was have some trouble with K band lockouts, and remembered that this used to be an issue with NetRadar and iOS. I tried to do a search but I couldn't find any recent info (my searching skills are probably to blame). Are lockouts with iPhones still an issue or has that been addressed with updates?
thanks for any info.

What was the issue? If it was the icons dancing around, making it tough to actually hit the “suppress” button, that’s been fixed.

If you’re talking about not being able to change profiles during an alert, I think that is still an issue. Not sure if it’s a “bug” per se, but more of a feature request.

Haven’t heard of that being a widespread problem. I do know that they don’t work until GPS signal has been acquired (obviously) and that the app can use either the phone or the ALP GPS. I have speed signs at work, and I know I switched GPS because one of them was usually faster to acquire a location than the other when I would drive out of the parking ramp. Could that have been part of what you were seeing?

Lockouts are stored on the phone. If you switched phones you will have to rebuild the database. If you have your old phone you can backup the database and restore them on the new phone.
