I believe all of Florida is considered Dragon Country. My 2 Head system is now on hold, believe I am going to need a 3rd head... Maybe move the Red area to above the faux chrome and a 3rd center in Intercooler Opening?

This is one of those moments, measure 100 times, cut once? I searched first for Genesis Coupe and didn't see anything. I appreciate anyone's help.

Will it fit above the emblem? I'm not familiar with TMG but it looks like it will fit there

With the help of a dremel It would fit perfectly, and give me a reason to replace the front emblem.

Are you suggesting 3 heads then? Because of the Dragons?

3 heads because of front end width and other guns can benefit from 3 heads as well on a wide car

I appreciate the reply, will order another head from TMG. I will be able to move the red boxes out closer to the headlights on each side, like an inverted V.

What makes you believe that the two heads are not working? The car does have a difficult shape to cover, but did you test it yet? I too bought a TMG, but have no time to install on my Tecoma, but I plan to add an extra cable should I discover I need an extra head. Good insurance. I hope to make some RD Forum friends here in Arizona and then do testing to confirm proper orientation. Best of wishes.

Well, it's probably very wise to install 3 heads. From what this nube gathers, it's very important to achieve the correct spacing and 90 degree forward facing orientation of head placement.

At the time I was ordering this I was preoccupied with other things in life and Jared helped me quickly get an order in and I wasn't reading the forum as much as I normally would. Sarge hinted at a Black Friday sale so I am waiting to see what that is but I will be going with three heads and will hopefully have a nice do it yourself video on using a Dremel and coming from the rear to create the holes and have them in a way they are align correctly with room to use the tool supplied in the kit. Functionality is more important than aesthetics but there's always a possibility to achieve both... I will try!

This car is uniquely a rectangle shape in the front, and I cannot wait for my dash cam to catch the first dragon save, those videos are going to be golden!

Thank you for the reply!

This was the start.....
46108082_2216926148573714_2763468682226040832_n.jpg

Then took the front end completely off. and what the picture doesn't show, the Genesis logo is at an angle, and our heads have to be straight....
47576645_390897054983050_38717824503382016_n.jpg

So I drilled two small holes in the end point, ran string between two tooth picks. This gave me a guesstimate, then measured to have both sides the same.
48355964_314086522766906_6733024594178867200_n.jpg

This is how much had to be cut out on each side.
47577834_1930101800630036_7427461303465148416_n.jpg

This was the best part. I had to find a way to get these level. It took two nuts on one side, and 1 nut and 1 washer on the other side. Then I had one bolt and nut so I could turn to make sure they were facing straight, then JB Weld to the rescue....
48369221_719201625119144_3051031319812243456_n.jpg

And here are all three heads, then I had to put the bumper back together. Good times.

Meanwhile back at the car. I took the two cables and put them in a mesh conduit. I knew from days of installing alarms, running wires behind a fender is always the way to go, no wires in the engine bay. and there is always that grommet that goes right into the cabin. I put an rubber grommet in there with a whole in the middle and silicon it up.

All of the heads to stick out, this is just a bad angle. I wrapped the shiney areas with the Carbon FIber looking wrap that changes colors...Normally looks black, but you get greens, blues, purples....
48332786_1927458107370088_6190864567392796672_n.jpg

I have my control box in front of my fuse panel. If I need to do updates, I can, but I have JBV1 always running on my HUD Cast...
47320484_2301014876820958_2758968527162441728_n.jpg

Picture of my Hudcast, but it fills the complete glass to my eyes and I can see through it. I really never need to look down....

And if you made it this far, congrats. Here is how it finally looks. Heads are 18", The heads up top are as far out as they could go. Wish I knew a place in Florida to get tested, but I have my little hand held. It picks those up at least. Also changed all lights to LED since I had it apart...... Now the two heads in the read to install next week when they arrive. Hope this helps someone one day.... My G35 sitting next to this has a 9500ci with LSP... Poor Car. 500whp and I don't drive it, 11.5 MPG on 93 or 25.9 MPG on 87,,, And the cars look very similar.... Thanks for looking,. You can't see where I cut away because the heads are right there.

I haven't been called that in a while Sarge... Gave me a pretty good laugh. But I was full systems quality assurance when I was a young E5 so there wasn't much on that aircraft I couldn't fix....

Thanks for the smile Sarge!

Very nice! Can you share more about the HUD cast? I've been really interested in doing similar but it's on the back burner at the moment

It works like a TV, I have a Samsung, so I just hit one button (Smart-things), and my phone's screen switches to the HUD and my phone display turns black. The Hud screen is smaller than an inch, but it casts to the clear adjustable screen perfectly. It works with any Android phone that supports Miracast for wireless casting, it has an Apple option, but I don't know a thing about Apple products, and you can also connect wired.

I was a tester for them giving me a $100 off. $299 is steep if you don't know what you are getting into, with that said, knowing how nice it is, I will probably buy another for my G35 at the full price. I really never realised how many times I was looking down at my phone until I installed this.

I hope this answers your question.....

I normally have split screen running with JBV1, and I am always testing a different Waze version.

Yes, that's the one. I do not run their software. Although I know that is how firmware updates would come.

I also the OBD2 cable, it shows mph and rpm if I'm not casting to the display. I also bought the lower profile mount as it was a little too high at first, but each car is different.

I have a preset split screen of JBV1 and Waze as in the screenshot above.
