I'm on the 650, glad to see they still didn't fix the Wi-Fi issue on later models. But other than that I have no complaints. I've been completely happy with mine. *knock on wood*.

We had the earlier BlackVue on a car we kept in a Florida. It was always shutting down due to overheating. Ended up going to a Thinkware, but they had such glitchy software but didn’t shut down. Unfortunately it only recorded about 80% of the time. Ended up with a BlackSys system that was better, but didn’t like the cold here in Northern Vermont. It’s on the shelf right now since I bought it 2nd hand and no warranty.

You would think when we buy a premium product it would work better. I’d really like to reinstall something in the wife’s car, but I don’t want to listen to her complain about the damn dash cam beeping or telling us it is restarting, etc..

I've had my Blackvue 750 2CH for a year and it's been reliable. I know when it turns on because of the voice announcement and have not had any issues with video corruption. I don't use the cloud features.

The parking feature works for me with the PMP. It runs for ~ 6 hours off my car battery before shutting off at a conservative shutoff voltage.

I spent hours looking at dashcams before buying the 750. I did not find a company that didn't have issues with their products including Thinkware.

That’s distressing to hear. I have been looking for something that I can install on my MT vehicle that’s reliable and discreet. The search continues..............

Sad but true.

My Blackvue 600 i got from The Dash Cam Store has been great since 2014. I make sure i reformat through the BV every month to limit issues.

Parking mode works fine and senses movement well. The app WiFi based features really kind of suck and are slow but i don't mind going old school.

I might try to install the BlackSys again and see what happens. Our car in CO has a cheap one channel from Roav that has worked flawless. Weird how that works.

I paid close to $500. I got a product that's of $200 quality, maybe $300 if I'm being nice.

So no you don't get what you paid for.
