@darkpenguin , @Tallyho , @GTO_04 and I got together last Saturday to do some radar testing but between courses Mr. Penguin got some of his LIDAR guns out of his trunk and shot at my TMG Equipped SS. My install thread shows the setup: www.rdforum.org: TMG Quint Install Chevy SS

The course we used was out of convenience since it was right next to my property. It has steep elevation changes and curves so it's not favorable to the TMG at all. The results, however, are really good and it seems like my install is solid.

JTG JFG

DETC (ECCM but not current) Tested above 30 MPH
JTG with the exception of a "lucky" shot coming down a hill. Mr Penguin was not being nice...LOL
On rear:
PT within 300 feet.
JFG AFTER 300 feet.
I expect my car will fair a bit worse with a newer DETC, more than likely duplicating the New York test results of PT closer than 200 feet on the front, but I won't know unless it's tested.

@darkpenguin was the shooter so if he has any observations to add he is welcome of course!

It looks like my setup will jam the heck out of anything used in my area and I'm extremely happy with that. I'm also happy that I didn't have to mess with my install and readjust things for any of the guns we tried. Either I got lucky and installed everything fairly well to start or TMG isn't too fussy. Maybe a combination of both!

I'd still love to test against some other guns, especially Prolite + since I've heard some might be around here. It would be neat to test against TSS and a newer DETC/DESL as well.

In any case, I'm very happy with the results and should be very well protected where I'm at.

If you can beat the PL3/4 then you should be fine on the prolite. it's not a hard gun. I JTG'd the prolite I have on loan with a single ALP head on an SUV.

Wow, very nice results. That'd definitely work just fine for what we face up here. :) Thanks for the testing and sharing what you found!

If you test fine against a PL3 you'll be fine against a ProLite+. Thanks for sharing, TMG is definitely impressive! Once they can get JTG around 20 mph it will be hard for ALP to contend at their price point

It was on my triple front setup with the DETC we tested with. After following Jag42's results and reading the testing group results that were initially posted I was pleasantly surprised by that.

Personally I haven't seen any difference other than that the vehicle travels faster so it closes the distance to the dragon quicker. That takes in a perceived improved performance, but you get that advantage with any jammer.

Tks, just didn't want to see fantasy become something perceived as real.
