Feature - V1Driver will now Voice Announce J-Outs. This is on by default and can be disabled under Voice Settings.
Feature - New Chart mode. You can now view your data chronologically on the chart. Just Tap the Chart and the X-Axis will toggle between Frequency and Date. All the other filters (Band, Pin Type, Date Range and Map) still apply to either view. Don't forget you and pinch zoom and pan as well.
Feature - 3D Touch ShortCuts, you can now do a 3D Touch on V1Driver Icon and it will pop a menu for common actions. Currently only Mute, Snooze and Lock are supported.
Feature - Browser Shortcuts, two types display pages and commands.
    V1DriverProtocol://page.Softronix.com/drive or /map or /settings
    V1DriverProtocol://command.Softronix.com/mute or /snooze or /lock
Feature - Siri ShortCuts, you can now use Siri to control V1Driver. Currently only Mute, Snooze and Lock are supported. This is a little tricky to setup. To Get Siri to “Suggest” a short cut it must be something you often do. You can use the 3D Shortcut to indicate to iOS you want a shortcut for mute by just clicking 3D Shortcut - Mute several times. Then go into phone Settings search for Siri Shortcut. You should see the suggestion there for V1Driver Mute. Add it, by teaching it the voice phrase you want for that action.
Enhanced - Updated a 3rd party library that provides Tips. They should be placed a little better. Still not perfect though.
Enhanced - Added more layouts to the Map View (there are now 12). Toggle through them by double clicking the Count of pins at the top. Basically there are 4 layouts for the Chart, Map and Chart + Map. The 4 Layouts are All Pickers, No Pickers, Date Pickers (Top) and Data Pickers (Bottom).
Change - Dropping Support for iOS 9.x Users running iOS 9.x will only see the previous versions to this release in the App Store, and will no longer get future updates.
Bug - English Language Voice incorrect on iOS 12.1. There is a new Voice option called "Text to Speech Voice". This is a "tie breaker" whenever you have multiple voices in the same language. The Tip will list the choices if there are multiple choices for your current language. It's defaulted to Samantha.

Do current users just go back into the app store now and download the latest version?

It depends on how you have your phone set up. If it updated apps automatically, you shouldn’t have to do anything, though you can prompt it to go more quickly by opening the App Store app and forcing it under the Updates section if it hasn’t already. If you have automatic updates turned off, then you’ll do that anyway.

I assume this is in the context of staying on Beta or not.

It’s sort of like iOS. You can stay on Beta and jump on the next Beta or switch to official release.

If you are on Beta you already typically have what I release to the App Store.

I generally will typically release a new Base Beta on TestFlight so that I get past the approval phase. Incremental updates to Beta don’t have an approval delay. So I can get an update out to Beta users quick.

There is a new Beta out and it just has a few more shortcuts. Not all working. It also uses the latest compiler which sometimes requires code changes.

any updates on CarPlay integration? Waze will pop up with alerts and would be nice if v1driver do the same.

V1Driver isn’t a Navagation App and it’s Navagation apps that are now being approved for CarPlay.

Dude. Out of all the navigation apps only Google Maps and Waze are even available. And because his app offers no navigation whatsoever, it would be an instant rejection. The man knows what he’s doing. Let him do it.

Dude, do a search in App Store to see at least 10 navigation apps.

There are a couple others on CarPlay besides Google and Waze.

I have not attempted to submit V1Driver. You have to do some work for layout and how the app operates as well as being a Navigation app for CarPlay. Apple is also fairly strict in enforcing rules. So I wouldn’t want to put the work in to prepare it for CarPlay and then have it shot down.

Not sure I can even change its classification.

Haven't had a chance to test this yet, but I love the new voice alert for J-Outs.
