.
As of 18:01, I can no longer reach any other pages of the Forum when using Safari other then the main Forum Home Page. Any attempt at any Navigation whether clicking on a Forum header, New Posts, Alerts, Inbox, or even User Area causes this message:

Safari Can't Open the Page
Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "www.rdforum.org"

Anybody else having an issue?

I was forced to use Firefox to login and leave this Post.

which macOS version are you on @Transporter ? I'm still using Sierra 10.12.6 and Safari 12.0 (12606.2.11) and all is fine.

Still doing it. My laptop is old. Apple can't believe it is still running. Safari is 10.1.2

I used my iPhone and it works fine so it is not my ISP and of course still logged in o Firefox to reply here.

Should I try the NOM command to clear out everything from the Forum Domain? I know my password so no worry about losing the auto login and other cookies.

I would clear the browser cache first, then close Safari and re-open and see if the issue is still there,

Weird. I just opened RDF in Safari and it's working just fine. Maybe some weird temporary fluke?
If it was, Cloudflare would say so - and Cloudflare is always online so no idea why the above happened. Would need to see a copy of the developer console with the information inside it to help.

We see this occasionally at my workplace. Not always but after other troubleshooting steps, we will do a fresh reboot to find it gets fixed. Before that, I’d try and expand any summarized messages from the browser and see if more information is available in the details. I’d also look at the certificate details to ensure you are seeing the correct certificate and not an unexpected one.

I'd be surprised to see an unexpected certificate - it would throw errors in the browser like AIDS on a blood test... pages shouldn't even load properly without an action by the user to bypass the broken cert.

Two weeks ago I had my local diagnostic utility, Charles, an ssl intercepting proxy’s CA cert expire. I forgot it was running in the background, so all ssl broke for me. I inspected the certs in Chrome and quickly realized what was happening and that I was locally proxying and with a freshly expired CA cert. Quick fix but I can’t emphasize enough how valuable that option is to quickly view the cert details from within Chrome. Very helpful for starting to diagnose ssl issues. This was a surprise to me too :) Yes, an exception and not the norm, but I share any and all ideas for whatever worth it may be.

I love those types of web proxies - very helpful for debugging SSL connections!

@xydrine was HSTS ever turned on even temporarily? I doubt it, but figured I'd ask anyways :)
