Making good progress on TMG support. I expect a release by Wednesday--maybe sooner. Initial functionality will include all of the following (at a minimum):

1) Gun identification
2) Alert logging
3) Mode changes

Awesome ! I'm going to have to buy a V1 soon. I miss my laser detection on V1.

That's great!

Will there also be a directional arrow?
Can we update the FW from JBV1?

Do we require V1 in order to use it?

why would you need laser detection on V1 if you are using TMG?

Johnboy is amazing. To be clear this replaces the TMG app? Also this will be a feature of JBV1 app?

Posted elsewhere by @johnboy00 , JBV1 integration of TMG, but V1 needed to use JBV1, which is why this is posted in the JBV1 discussion forum.

Ultimate combo. I would use both.

This will be an option within JBV1. You will want to keep the TMG app for f/w updates.

I would think it would just be redundant to use both. I know wirth my V1 I sometimes get laser falses. And by turning off laser sweep I think you would speed up detection.

I think @Jag42 meant that the V1 is the ultimate radar detector paired with the ultimate laser jammer (TMG).

Will this put a load on the V1s cpu any or will it run on the phones CPU. I noticed if I have both the Concealed display and jbv1 connected to the V1, the arrows are slower to respond to directional changes. If I disconnect the CD then it speeds up the arrows a bit.

There's practically zero load on your phone with TMG connected. The BT messages going back and forth are event-triggered, so that traffic is super light.

How long are your phone lines that power the V1 and connect to the V1LE and CD? I have V1, V1LE, V1CD, V1RA, and a separate Mute Button. When I first setup the RA, there was a lag, but once I checked the length of the wiring and minimized it where possible, now all is fine.
