This is my first vid with the new R3. I thought this was gonna be another routine 34.7 detection. I knew something was up, because after having a bunch of detections on this road the ramp up got way to fast, way to soon. This road has some small rises along it's length but it's mostly straight with only 2 stop signs and they are miles away. It's about for 4 miles long. A typical detection is about 2 miles if the timing is right. But as you'll see the ramp starts very normal and then starts to get intense quickly. When I first make visual contact I can see the lights, and that he is going hard. When he came by me I would guess he was doing somewhere between 75 and 80. Point of contact was at 6 tenth's, but I was only doing about 45 when the detction started and got up to just about the PSL of 50. I'm sure he traveled waay further than I did in that time. I'm gonna call this 1.5 miles. Settings - Advanced, Seg'd 2/5/8 ON. Laser, X, K, Ka, K filter ON. Everything else OFF.
