Can someone please explain to me exactly how the Savvy learning mode works? Do you have to move the slider as you drive around, or does it learn the speed you are driving via the phone's GPS? If the latter, if you are speeding will it set the Savvy speed too high? Can someone elaborate a little on this feature? Thanks in advance.

    You almost have it right.

First, Savvy learning must be Enabled.

If you have the slider on the default setting there is no point in dropping pins to override the default with the default.

So, yeah, as soon as you move the slider then you are saying you want a different Savvy setting where you are at from the default setting.

    Drive your route.

Then you MUST turn Savvy learn off to use what it learned.

Now if the slider is on default setting and it sees a Savvy pin it will use that savvy pin setting.

If you move the slider, that says you don’t want default nor use the Savvy override pins and that you want to override everything. And it will.

Remember you can toggle the Savvy learn mode by doing a long press on the “Savvy nn” text. If you see a * in front of the text it’s Savvy learn is on.

It would be convenient if SAVVY pins could be dropped offline by tracing over a route or area on the map.

Keep in mind V1Driver has no idea where the road is. You'd have to zoom in fairly close to place them as accurately as GPS does.
