    Hi Folks,
So I wanted to briefly share an epic road trip recently. I have an STi with blendmount for my R3 & ALP total 6 heads 3 front n 3 back with 2 TX sensor in the middle making up the 6 heads. Counter measure WAZE which I must say has been very effective, I use a Ram mount for my Note8 Samsung running the app. The R3 saved me many, many times this was among others on the road who had detectors as I could see them at night and sure enough my R3 went off just before I went up a hill which I of course immediately slowed down the other car which was at times ahead of me and me sometimes ahead of him went right on by be and bingo he hot snagged doing well over 100mph this was in TX. On this Trip I went to Yellow Stone Park from the Tampa Bay area Fl via White Sands NM and looped back through Grand Tetons and Zion National Park. The States I went through were AL,MS, LA, TX, NM, CO, WY, ID, UT, AZ and of course FL that being said my ALP went off only once the whole time and that was on my way back through TX but my R3 didn't pick it up which in the end did not matter. Now I will say I was not being reckless nor a speeding demon but their were many places where the speed limit was 75mph and I was the ONLY car around for at least 20 miles or more in some cases like the Navajo nation bad lands as an example. My car in particular is the number one ticketed car and so this is why I have this set up to be aware of what is around me including using my cars own GPS as and additional countermeasure for speed limits while of course always observing posted limits as well. It is so easy to be on back HWY roads going through small towns where speed traps are all around and the posted limits sneak up on you. The R3 along with WAZE was my best means of staying situationally aware I would say on this trip giving me a heads up at least 50 different times which otherwise could have easily ended in a potential "you know what- pice of paper". Now I was alerted so much beyond that between my R3 and WAZE that keeping count is not possible. I guess you could say my ALP has been TESTED as I have had it now for over 5 months did some other road trips with nothing ever going off, so it took me 4 weeks and 7000 miles to know ALP works and my set up is very effective.
Hope some of you found this to be some what entertaining and encouraging if you are considering such a set up.
