Hey, Not sure If im posting this in the right section, but I'm making a drive from los angeles, to Phoenix. I have K band disabled due to false alerts and only run ka, and laser on my detector. Is that sufficient outside of los angeles (ie, AZ) this will be freeway driving of course. Sorry if this is in the wrong section as I'm a new member

Ok, from someone who actually Lives out here.

Cali has Stalker. I have driven Phoenix to LA NUMEROUS times. Not once was hit in Cali by anything other than Stalker. (ka)

In AZ you WILL see K band. (quite a bit so not sure where the info was from above, but it is wrong.) State PD uses a mix and if you look at the purchase order below, they use K, Ka and Lidar. procure.az.gov: State of Arizona - Master Blanket

Maricopa County uses a mix also. Turning off K band here will get you a ticket.

Only to add, segment K band as applicable - 2/5/8 seems to be good along the major roads in the state.
