You mean the physical mute lever on the unit? What should it be set at?
All the way left (CCW) if you have mute volume set to lever. Any other position and muted alerts will be at the volume set by the lever.

You can set it by the lever on the unit, but you will need to set it in the profiles. You can also select "Zero" in the profiles.

If I set it to Zero like above mute should work? I think my lever is to the left I have the main unit sort of hidden so harder to get to.

Its a relatively new app type feature where you will get a true mute with out the need for the lever. Sounds perfect for you focalcivic.

I still use the knob my self (all the way left/down).

Where do you keep the mute lever?

If you had Always Mute V1 enabled, and your manual mute button isn't working either, then probably you have mute volume set to lever and the lever set to too high a volume. The always mute option shouldn't be enabled if you want to hear your V1 alerting.
