    Version 2.0.49.404 here.

iPhone X on iOS 12.0., V1 with the bluetooth dongle

Ever since iOS 12, I've noticed the notifications have been hit and miss. I use my iPhone to notify me what frequency Ka is detected. I don't even get my "connected" initial notification anymore.

I've been fiddling with the settings and it's all just inconsistent now. Not sure what I've done wrong... the only constant I can see is the recent addition of iOS 12.

I’ll double Check it. I lean heavily on voice and rarely look at screen.

Thanks! Speaking of voice, I've noticed that the voice comes across very crackly over my car audio. Didn't used to do that. Ugh.

New iPhone XS arrives Monday (late). I'll see what happens then.

I know that Siri sounds kinda iffy sometimes, as does phone audio. I don't use waze nor google maps (with audio).

Anyway, new handset soon. Will retry then.

No, but I try to keep up with iOS updates as there is normally a compiler update along with iOS update.
So one is in beta now. I'm checking on one new issue I've seen a couple times before I release.

    Still getting hit-and-miss pop-up notifications.

    Now on iPhone XS.

    Edit:
I re-installed it, and the app asks to "access your location". Could that make a difference?

    Only While Using the App
    Always Allow
    Don't Allow

    Yes, It MUST be Always.
Did you have it set otherwise?

Make sure you do a V1Driver backup in case you ever do change phones or reinstall. So that you don’t lose your learned data.

    Thanks for the follow up.

You know what? I may have had it turned OFF before because I don't use the GPS features.

It's on now. This morning, no issues. This could be it! Thank you!

It won’t do much of anything without GPS features.

I hope that’s all it was.

I only use the app to display frequency via notifications, even if running in the background. I don't use the Savvy emulation, maps, etc. Overkill, I know. But it's all I want.

If this is the fix, that'll be awesome.

I gotta say: It's all been running smoothly since.
