I am considering a getting a second V1 to replace the Escort smart radar in the wife's vehicle. I was wondering if the app stores information from multiple detectors? I drive her vehicle on occasion and would like have the auto lockouts eventually saved from the second V1 on my phone also.

If they are modern V1’s I find they are close enough to not be a problem. It does not track multiple detectors and won’t know you connected to a different one.

Thank you, wasn't sure if app tracked by firmware or another method. Since the app stores the GPS data the lock outs would respond the same using either detector correct? Would be a nice benefit when I drive her car to work.

Yes. My wife and I have a V1 in each car and we swap cars all the time. No problemo.

I have a 3rd in the home office for development and I set her V1Driver app to not connect to the one in the office.
