Looks good, but all it took was going Dove hunting once to make me never go again. Guess it must be why I don't care for Wings either IE not enough meat to bother with, give me a chicken breast or two, not 30 Wings!

Little bastards are hard to hit too, and yeah, it's about as much meat as a chicken wing. But damn, they are good.

True story.... it should be past statute of limitations... sooo... i should be ok. :shifty:

Out hunting with dad once....location undisclosed :shifty: anyway.... its getting late, sun on horizon. We see what we believe was several doves coming, about to go over a row of cedars in front of us. We are looking into the sun as ONE ****ing bird crests that tree line. We both unload.... it hits hard in the brush not too far from dad.

He finds it... i see him looking at it real funny... then he quickly stomps it and twists it into the ground with his boot...

**** .. i said... What was it? :derp:

Dad: not a ****ing Dove... lets go.

We get to the truck, im like, what was it, Pop?

Give you hint... it had a split tail....

Oh faaacckkk!!! :pwn: Yeah.... lets go!

For anyone who doesnt know... the Scissortail Flycatcher is the Oklahoma State Bird ...

And it flies similar to a dove..... :shifty:

I love me some doves!

My best dove shooting shot is when I had one coming in directly, and I draw down it with my sights. Unload on it, and it balls up. Since it was on an incoming path I ran up (gun in hand), and caught that little b@stard.

Best shot ever, and my wife witnessed the whole thing!
