Was headed home from SFO on 80 eastbound., right around Mare Island and the chevron. Got impatient at the entiltled butt holes who drive in the left lane at PSL so kicked in sport mode, jumped over to the right lane, was hitting around 90 when got my first chirp. Jammed the brakes on and it had to be less than a second a pretty hard alert from the Uniden on 34.7. Never saw the cop, so he may have been on the opposite side, but being as it was at night and a busy area I didn’t have a good chance to look around. WAZE didn’t show any police either EB or WB.

I've been there, 89 feels so right(My understanding is traffic school is up to +25 over) but I try to hold myself back to 77-78 where you get most of the speed boost with a very small chance of being pulled.

680 is often worse even, because you have the same complete lack of lane courtesy as I-80 but with only 2 lanes instead of 4-5 to get around it with.

I am happy that I'm almost always heading North instead of South, driving South on I-5 from the Bay Area feels like I-680 but for 6 hours.

Yeah, I will sometimes take 24 after the bay bridge and hop on 680 to 80 (or opposite) and nobody wants to move out of the left lane yet they get peeved when you blow by them on the right.
