    No, that is one major disadvantage of mounting it that way. I drove around town and did all of my lockouts before mounting it up that high. If I need to change the settings, I take the Pro M off of the mount and do it that way.

    I can. I did not mount the RD flush with my sun visor, so I can actually access the buttons very well, far easier than reaching for them when the RD was mounted in the center of my windshield by the dash.
    I'll take a pic and show you my setup.

    Thanks. It's very unobtrusive, and I ran the hotwiring cable down the A pillar.

    There's a problem with my setup, however: I live in sunny country and have to use the sun visor often. With the RD in the position in the photos, lowering the visor hides the RD completely. So I abandoned that setup.

    Tried it last night. That bump to the right (next to the upper right corner of the rectangle you drew) prevents the RD from fitting. And even then a lowered visor blocks a part of the screen. I put the RD right under the RVM (attached to the windshield). I'll check for glare today while I drive.
