    There is a good description here:

    www.rdforum.org: HW1 --> HW2 CPU Upgrade Option

    Main thing is the ability to directly connect the GPS module without the need for the RG module, the RG3 model is not compatible with HW 1 CPU's so if you want to go TX sensor, or Netradar you will want HW 2. Also the 2.0 there is the ability to dim the external LED, instead of just Off/ and bright

    Not tried it myself, so don't hold me to it, but one of the Aussie members tried the R/G 3 and NetRadar with his HW1 CPU, and it worked fine for him ?

    One of my sensors isn't as sensitive in detecting an object in front of it...you have to be a few inches from it and it only slowly beeps where as the other sensor you can be 2 foot from it and it beeps...is this a sign of a bad or failing sensor?
