Figured this might be a good topic to post up pictures or encounters with unmarked LEO's or non standard LEO vehicles so we all know what to watch for:

I have some dash cam pictures, and I'll list what I have seen as well:

Black Stealth Explorer I-95 Martin County Running Laser:

There is also a dark navy blue explorer that looks exactly like this one seen in the same area also running laser.

Black Chevy Caprice Unmarked. Martin County Running Rolling C/O KAband:

White Unmarked Ford Explorer C/O KA band -St Lucie County:

A few others I have seen but didn't save footage of:
Silver Unmarked Ford Expedition with a Front Pusher bar, Dark tinted Windows, C/O KA band-Palm Beach County
Older generation unmarked White Chevy Impala, Dark windows, with lights mounted in the grill and inside front and rear window-Martin County
White Unmarked Chevy Tahoe, Spotlight and light bars in the windows - Martin County
White Marked Ford Escape - Port St Lucie
White Marked Ford Fusion - Palm Beach County
White Marked Ford F-150 -Martin County
Black Marked Ford F-150 -Riviera Beach.
2 Ghost White Ford Explorers: Has very pale light gray lettering on the sides, no external lights, Running C/O Ka Band- St Lucie County.

If you have others to add to the list post them up! Love to see what else they have out there for enforcement vehicles in the Great state of FL, please also list the rough area you spotted them.

Silver Ford F150 & Silver Mustang GT - Clearwater PD. Don't have any video or pictures, but saw it parked at a gas station, and F150 was having a road side disco party.

Always see this guy. Damn car is impossible to spot without an RD onboard. Just passed him in Stuart Sunday sitting inconspicuously on the side of a 2 lane road (with a 25PSL) running both front & rear. Good news is he usually spews C/O. Front is 34.715 Rear is 34.650. I did get a code brown I/O from him once last year in the early AM with little traffic. If I were a traffic cop I would love this guys rig.

I usually see a white marked caprice in the stuart area thats spewing C/O Kband... hate K band. but again at least it's C/O so you can figure out there is a threat ahead to watch for.

99.9% of the traffic enforcement units for the Sheriff in Pinellas county are C/O. Its like they don't even care.

yep, and the caprices are not very common down here, and the few I have seen have all been marked with a light bar... this was the first stealth one i have encountered, they blend in like another generic Chevy cruise sedan so they don't catch your attention like some of the others... A white ford explorer, I will spot way out and treat with care until I know for sure... if it weren't for the C/O Ka band in the middle of no where I would never have noticed the caprice. and clearly it's used for speed enforcement too.

That's one good thing about them, they are strictly law enforcement, both me and @romclean have inquired about used one's and no bueno. LEO purchase only.

That's a Martin Co Sherriff. Currently there are at least 3 Martin Co Sherriff's running around with K Band. Two Caprice's and an Explorer, all marked. I reported their frequencies in another thread recently. The number of K Band units seems to be growing in Martin.

Yep I have noticed that its seems to be increasing too. generally they are around 24.125+ or minus a little. I have also seen Kband from Fort pierce, and Jupiter before too... here is my thread on the Martin county Caprice and Kband: www.rdforum.org: Radar - R1 vs FF (?) K-band over a hill

It makes more sense to get a Ford Taurus or Dodge Charger, because the maintenance is cheaper than the caprice.

The Holden factory in Australia has now closed for good so the Caprices will soon be endangered species.

Funny you started this thread yesterday, and on my way home I ran into the unmarked F150 Clearwater PD uses in their traffic enforcement efforts:

You can definitely see the lights in the grille, and in the headliner. Sneaky...

Police had their annual toy collection and parade through our small downtown area in Brevard county. Made sure to take note of the unmarked vehicles proudly displaying their flashers.
1) White Explorer, which had red/blues in the fog lights and on a bar ever so close to the windshield tinted visor (very hard to see),
2) gold Malibu w/ grill lights
3) get this... a dark gunmetal ford raptor pickup. Not sure which (if any) are used for traffic enforcement, but wanted to share nonetheless.

I also caught some of them leaving on my way home. I did not notice any special license plate... is this not required? Will try to find footage on dashcam

Went laser hunting yesterday came across this pair in a familiar trap (yes I did get hit with an XLR):

Same two cops I usually see in this trap area, usually they are on bikes, or the black unmarked charger or white marked crown vic's, but today they were rocking a older black unmarked crown vic and a brand new gray unmarked Explorer:

Explorer doesn't have much for good give aways, no spotlights, standard plates, no antennas. no full interior lightbars (just a couple red/blue LED's in the front and rear window (you can see one lit up on the side rear window in the second pic). Thankfully I didn't see any radar equipment on the dash so he's laser only which is fine by me cause ALP can deal with that!

No roof racks on them is a give away.

I think of it as a G8 with a bow tie. Don't see them very much in Indiana. First time I saw one in the wild I was PSL +25! Fortunately it was being driven by a detective lol. Had no spotlight either.

The normally have plain steel exhaust tips that point downward too, no chrome or stainless steel.
