Has there been any testing to determine a reduction of DSP antenna K band reaction time when MRCD is turned on?
I'm asking because MRCD seems to be spreading, and when I'm driving into an unfamiliar area I'd like to know how much of a K band hit (if any) the DSP suffers when MRCD is activated.

My question is, since the Firmware release of the Uniden R series, and showing the limitions to how low the series can scan, does the NRDSP having a similar limitation? or just a RedFlex issue. I am assuming not, but found this for the FCC ID

This was a test with older FW, but there is no real difference in Ka-Band sensitivity:

The question I was going with, was the K band for MRCD that is below 24.05GHz. I recall something from BRD saying the Attowave system used is similar to the R series. The antenna design...? In another thread, BRD mentions crystal that limits the R series to see below the 24.050GHz (crystal used). If the site to configure provides,K1 23.950 - 24.000, K2 24.000 - 24.050, then BRD did a smart setup to allow the ability to see better than the R series. Could be a reason why the R series using similar hardware, (XTLO different) edges out on the Ka 34.7/35.5GHz. Though interesting you Multanova @ 34.30 GHz has additional meters on the R Series. In addition, the original ALP Radar integration had two antenna to sniff out K band, one standard K 24.050-24.250 and the second to get the polar and lower freq for road side Camera systems, compacting to one with the NRDSP.

I am happy overall with the ALP Radar system with the DSP, just waiting on better App or Display like the V1 and/or community system like JBV1. To me, the NRDSP is a V1 in a Remote style.... just saying.

I think this is an interesting question. Does the NetRadar hardware allow it to pick up the low power k shots that the Uniden misses? Would that do it or are there other frequencies that it will miss? I want to make the move to ALP and would consider the NetRadar while I’m doing the install.
