In the interview, Ecort claimed / almost bragged that ‘We have more Engineers than anyone’. If that’s true then why can’t they figure out how to make a visor or mirror mount?

I’ve got a unused curtain mounting bracket that I think I can rebend to fabricate an adapter.

And if I do it right, it will be able to screw onto the Blendmount.

Unfortunately all my tools are at ‘work’ and I’m working in the field for two more weeks. Have to get into the machine shop

In the old days I could get in the machine shop after work. Now I have to work on breaks and lunch.
It’s close, some filing, couple more holes and paint...

Whoa cowboy, haven’t put it on the visor yet.
Let me think.... No LOL.
Let’s look at the facts.
There are 3 components.
The adapter I made. The visor bracket had in my junk box. And had to buy a spare sticky cup to get the magnet.

What I do know is, it will fit on the Blendmount but is way too heavy.

Our best bet is to talk to a member that has a 3D printer. Materials: If I had stainless steel laying around, it would be lighter and stronger. Next best bet would be to find some aluminum u channel that’s the right size and saw it & make a jig to drill the holes.
If we could put together a 10,000 pc order, we could get professionally made assemblies and the costs would come down.
(Don’t see that happening)

I'll be holding my horses then :)

I'll grab the spare parts and see what I can fashion myself. Great Idea though!

Put VHB on it and let it sit for 24 hrs with vice grips. Hung it in car and after 1/2 hr on the sun, tape let go. Put screws in today @ lunch.
Will Dremel the ends tonight.

Update: First road trip. Rented a Maxima. The mount may be ok in a truck, suv or soul but in a car with a low roof, the detectors about a foot from my face. Makes it really easy to see but little claustrophobic.

Have you tried sliding the clip into the headliner?
