In a LI Quad, can I use my 9.0 in the front, and two 8.8 in the rear? (1 Viewer)

-I understand about the 8.8 -> to 8.9 -> to 9.0 design changes, some nice posts on that. But has anyone had a LI Quad had two 9.0s in front and 8.8 in back. If I could find some used 9.0, I would be heaven and I would just sell these 8.8, especially since they need new RJ14 connectors.

Thanks in advance for any help. Allen

Are you looking for LI heads or are you just looking for recommendations? The heads should work fine in that setup.

Thank you for the reply!

Both my 8.8 have the connectors cut off, but still a very long flat cable. I have ordered RJ14 6 pin connectors. Not sure the color order though. If anyone had a picture at the connectors end of the wire color order.

I do not know if the 9.0 heads have a great advance or not over the 8.8 heads. Most replies I get in other thresd are to sell everything I own and buy ALPs, but every technology has its life cycle. I'm happy with what I have, just want to have a Quad. Maybe catch the next latest and greatest technology in a few years.

If I can't find the pin out for the 8.8 or if they 9.0 after that much better, then I would try to find two 9.0 hard for the rear.

Thank you again for your reply! Allen
